This policy explains what information is handled when you play Blockz, view an optional rewarded ad, make a purchase, visit this website, or contact CodeCraftCreations.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
CodeCraftCreations, based in Denmark, develops and publishes Blockz. For personal data that we determine how and why to process, CodeCraftCreations is the data controller.
This policy applies to the Blockz mobile game on Android and iOS, this legal website, and messages you send to our support address. It does not replace the privacy policies of Apple, Google, Unity, or other independent services.
2. Information handled in connection with Blockz
Game progress stored on your device
Blockz stores gameplay information locally on your device, including completed levels, earned coins, unlocked or equipped ball and platform skins, settings, and other progress. CodeCraftCreations does not receive this local save data. Removing the app or clearing its storage may delete it permanently.
Advertising information
Blockz offers optional rewarded advertising. Depending on the version of the game, ads may be provided by Unity Ads or Google AdMob. These providers may process:
- IP address and general location inferred from it;
- device, operating system, app version, and language information;
- ad requests, impressions, views, rewards, and interactions;
- diagnostic, fraud-prevention, and security information; and
- advertising identifiers only where legally permitted and appropriately configured.
CodeCraftCreations does not receive information that directly identifies you from these providers. We may receive aggregated advertising and revenue reports.
In-app purchases
Optional purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. CodeCraftCreations may receive the purchased product, transaction identifier, purchase status, date, and limited storefront information needed to unlock content, prevent fraud, and provide support. We do not receive your full card number, bank details, or app-store password.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message or attachments. Please do not send more personal information than is needed, particularly information about a minor.
This website
We do not place advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may process basic connection logs, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page, to deliver and secure the site.
3. Information Blockz does not ask for
Blockz does not require an account and does not include chat, public profiles, user-generated content, or cloud saves. CodeCraftCreations does not ask the game to collect your:
- name, home address, phone number, contacts, or precise location;
- photos, videos, microphone recordings, or camera data;
- health, biometric, school, or government identification data; or
- full payment-card or bank information.
4. Why information is used
Information described above may be used to:
- operate the game, record purchase entitlements, and deliver optional ad rewards;
- serve contextual or otherwise legally permitted advertising;
- detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
- answer support and privacy requests;
- maintain records required for accounting, consumer protection, or legal compliance; and
- understand aggregate performance of the game and its advertising.
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis may be performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Blockz, or consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Age, teen users, and families
Blockz is intended for users aged 13 and over. It is not directed to children under 13.
CodeCraftCreations does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been provided to us, a parent or guardian may contact us. We will take appropriate steps to delete it, subject to any legal obligation to keep it.
Users aged 13 to 17 may still be considered minors or children under the laws of their country. Where required, advertising and consent choices are configured according to applicable law, provider requirements, platform settings, and the user’s valid consent choices.
Purchases are handled through Apple or Google and are subject to their family controls and approval settings. Parents and guardians should configure the device’s purchase controls before allowing a minor to play.
7. How long information is kept
- Local game progress: stays on your device until the app data is cleared or the app is removed.
- Support emails: kept only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, and resolve disputes.
- Purchase records: kept as required to provide purchased content, prevent fraud, and meet tax, accounting, and legal duties.
- Advertising data: retained by the advertising provider according to its own policy and applicable age, consent, and privacy settings.
8. International transfers
Some providers operate outside Denmark or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR applies, transfers must use an approved legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate safeguards.
9. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you or your parent or guardian may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; and complain to a data protection authority.
- To clear local progress, use your device’s app-storage controls or uninstall Blockz.
- Use the privacy controls shown by the advertising provider or your device settings for available ad choices.
- Use Apple or Google’s purchase history and support tools for store transactions.
- Email us for requests involving CodeCraftCreations.
If you are in Denmark, you may complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we handle. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Blockz, its providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how personal data is used, we will provide additional notice where required.
